Queensland Northern Soul
About us
The Queensland Northern Soul scene has been active for many years, it comprises two clubs, Soul In The City in Brisbane and The Gold Coast City Soul Club based in Surfers Paradise. These clubs run alternately on the last Saturday of each month and are dedicated to playing the best of Northern Soul, Motown and Modern Soul on original vinyl records.
Anyone who knows of Wigan Casino, Blackpool Mecca, The Twisted Wheel, Allnighters, Alldayers, Weekenders will be pleasantly surprised to discover the music is still alive and that the crowd are still as enthusiastic. Anyone who has a love of soul, motown and dancing will enjoy our friendly atmosphere. All newcomers are encouraged to attend and will be made to feel welcome.
